User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI have to disagree on one thing compared to the other reviews. Hair removal does really sting good when you are getting a good treatment, but it is temporary. I've been to other hair removal chain places which were a waste of money and more expensive. The best thing you'll get from Karen is results and a great education about the process. I wish I could be that enthusiastic about my own job as she is for hers!

I agree that Karen's prices are reasonable. However, I got tired of hearing how much everything cost to run her business, and how much overhead she has. I heard this on each visit. I went to her for laser hair removal. After several visits, I pointed out that I wasn't seeing results in a certain area. She then suggested that the hair was too fine for laser and might respond better to electrolysis. She then told me that this would be an additional $40. I questioned why this would be since I was already there prepared to pay for the laser treatment, and shouldn't then be charged an additional fee for the electrolysis since she was just substituting one service for another less expensive service. She then told me that whenever someone "bitches" about her prices, she usually tells them, "There's the door". Needless to say that I never went back. She had the nerve to call me weeks letter about coming in for another appointment. When I told her that I felt she was rude during my last service, she told me that I didn't have to come back. My sentiments exactly.

Karen is FANTASTIC!!!! I have been getting service's from her for a few years now and I am always satisfied! She is so good about explaining every step of the procedure. I always know what to expect before during and after.
Karen is a great person and I highly recommend her.

Karen does have a very direct repoire with customers and is always enthused about her business and craft. I too have had both laser and electrolysis to get hairs laser doesn't get. You don't want to stop laser treatments until you've got through all the growth cycles. Finish some areas with electrolysis is additional. I'm doing some areas with electrolysis also I would never expect Karen to double the work for the same price. I think you misunderstood it was extra work not substitution. You were going to get amazing results had you done her recommendations. I've had great results and am almost at my hair removal goal. I like Karen's down home frankness.
