    A national consumer publication that vigorously protects its editorial independence recently rated Sonny's as one of the best Bar-B-Q restaurants in the nation. That was good enough for us to try Sonny's during a recent visit to Central Florida.

    That is an interesting claim because people tend to be passionate about BBQ. Just how good is a place carrying the banner of a national best?

    With high expectations, we ordered ribs and chicken. There were some seafood offerings on the menu, but why would anyone order fried shrimp at a BBQ restaurant?

    Simply, Sonny's is good, very good, and worth visiting. The ribs were perfect, the chicken was outstanding and the sauces were top-notch. I recommend the Sizzlin' Sweet sauce.

    If you are looking for some good BBQ, don't hesitate to stop at Sonny's Real Pit Bar-B-Q.

    This one is a keeper.
