OK, so I agree with the other reviewers with one huge exception. Yes, the food is quite good, but nothing outstanding. This is much like a lady's tea room, which isn't to say that tea rooms are nice, but it's priced like a lady's tea room - just a bit more expensive than warranted. An iced tea, Coke, sandwich and salad should not cost almost $30. We walked in with the idea of purchasing some pastries to go home with us, but when we saw the prices our eyes bugged out. $5 for a napolean that's about half the size of an normal napolean is unreasonable. One or two- bite miniature pastires (that should have been $1.50 to $2) were priced at $3.95. Ouch! We are crazy about good pastries and visit bakeries throughout Florida, frequently going to the new one in downtown Winter Park and to Morton's in Sarasota. Both are a bit pricey, but nothing near the prices at Deli Delicacies, plus at D.D.'s the portions are very small. We ate lunch and left empty handed. We don't mind paying for good bakery items, but are not about to be fleeced.

Excellent food! Everything I have tried has been delicious. They have a large selection of sandwiches that are named after cars and are prepared to order. Also must try the salads. They have this spaghetti salad that is to die for. And if you have room, try one of their mouthwatering sweets on display. They have remodeled a awhile back, and now they have a nice dining area as well.
