Shady, Shady, Shady!!! This dealer is by far the worst I have dealt with in a very long time. They use so many old school sales shark methods it is ridiculous. On top of these poor sales methods the sales reps along with management make promises so frequently that it changes from one sentence to the next. They truly have no idea what it means to be ethical and honest...very disturbing.

My story began when I visited the dealership based on a mis-leading ad which I figured would be the case. Once at the dealer I waited for two hours before actually speaking with the sales guy. Talk was big but no action followed. I am a straight forward business man that does not have patience for people that are not honest. I gave them about another 45 minutes to try and appraise my trade which after 45 minutes still had not even been looked at. The scene at the dealership looked like the floor of the NY stock exchange with all the sharks trying to hand in their little white papers prepared to rip the next client off. No organization and no privacy either. If you have not been to this dealer I will set the scene, they sit you at little tables, not private offices and all your business and discussions are open for all the other consumers to hear. Very unprofessional!

Ok, back to my negative experience. After 3 hours of nothing, I left the dealership confirming my intial thought of shady dealers. I then drove home all the way back home which is about 45 minutes from this dealer. Once home I received a call from ??? if you guessed the sales manager then you guessed correct. The sales manager apologized and said please come back and we will make it right and get you a great deal...promise. I told him very clearly what my expectations were and I agreed to drive all the way back to the dealership just so I could be amused and state my case to these dishonest sales sharks. Upon my arrival and just as I expected more talk and no action. Good customer service was out the window.

First...my original sales guy left the dealership and did not even have the decency to call me and let me know he had to leave for what they claimed was an emergency. Hey I understand emergencies happen but if I can spend hours at your dealership and drive two hours to get there "twice", then you can get on the line and give me that heads up.

Second issue...Once I found out that my original sales guy was gone I then got a random sales guy (not the manager that called me) who has no idea what has been going on all day and requests that we start over. I tell him this is absurd but by now I wanted to see where this was going because I know better but many consumers do not. I wanted to see just how bad they would stick it to someone. Once we get a few numbers on cars they come back to me with insane car prices and false rates. What I mean by that is they marked the price of the car up by around $2000 which was not very intelligent because I spent ALL DAY looking at prices while I was waiting on them so I knew the true market value of the car, on top of that they came back with a range of monthly payments and an overpriced car quote. I began to question their prices and they fell apart...could not answer any questions accurately or honestly. Very unfortunate especially since Toyota as a whole posted very poor numbers for the final quarter of 2008 and poor numbers for the start of 2009.

What I have written is only a few highlights of my negative experience here at this dealer. The full story is much worse. If you are looking for a new Toyota or car period...do not go here. The representatives are not honest, do not have core values that they live by which are ethical and they are not interested in anything more than talking the car game. The scary thing is I know the car game and clearly expressed that. I can only imagine how many people have been robbed by this dealer in the form of terrible deals. DO NOT GO HERE!

Did you go to see about the buy one get one offer that's on the radio? I keep reading bad reviews and I'm sure there is a large sum of fine print on it but I was just curious. Thank you.

Initially...that radio ad peaked my interest but knowing the car game I figured it would be a less than a favorable deal for consumers. I will be honest with you and this is based on my experience. This dealership is very, very poor with regards to their leadership, honesty and ethical practices. Buyer Beware.

I called about the same ad & a sales rep came on & said it is legit, of course, I arranged to go down to talk about everything but ended up deciding it would be a waste of time!!!

Car Guy, I am sure you were looking to have a car given to you, the only hasle was that you thought you knew what you were doing, wanted to purchase a car below what they paid for the thing...and wanted retail for your trade. THey are a dealership who makes money!! as far as ads on tv and radio, the sales prices are exact (if you qualify for the incentives)...sounds like you were trying to do something that was impossiable...to start with Car buying is simple, why make it hard? it's all on the internet for you to see of best case deals you can blame the poor sales person who had to put up with you..who likely was fired because of your actions...thats why he was not available when you returned...I bet be happy, treat your sales guy right..do not be rude...it will go a long ways!!

I just came from here too. the sales people here could not find there own car, after 5 cold transfers from the first rude impression and no return call to tell me they found their own car on their own lot I decided to deal with their other store, Chrysler of LakeLand.

    Mistake # 2

The treatment from the general manager here was so bad that when I got home I did this search and sure enough , they have a big problem selling to honest intelligent people.
They wanted to give me 6000.00 for my Loaded Pacifica
LOADED EVERTHING, you have to special order this kind of loaded.

I came there after finding that they had the exact used car I wanted.
I started with phone calls on the morning of the 7th. The calls went to their sister dealership at Toyota were you are always greeted with a fast answer of a lady that immediately says just a moment and cold transfers you. Two different sale people here could not find the car they were selling and after 4 hours of waiting and calling and waiting I decided to drive to the sister store "Chrysler" A sales person Bill Spent 40 minutes driving me from one store to the other...I found it in the detail shop. Good car, I wanted it, I have the credit...but the price needed tweaking.
Next came the first phase of idiocy from the men in the shark tank that can only send the sales person with the insulting offer for my trade.
4 year old Pacifica (great cross over we are keeping) 38K new
they offer 6K...they are telling me at this point that there own flag ship cross over holds no value.
My wife made a reasonable offer to buy the used car, she waited 20 minutes as these old school morons tried the make em wait tactic. My wife used to sell time shares for years "she knows".

Think about it...I find a car I am specifically looking for, Color, year and make and could not get it done by phone, load up two kids 3 and 1 w/wife, drive an hour to help them find their car they can't find on their lot, make an offer to buy, I make 80K a year, top credit...and they can't close the deal because they offer too little and ask too much and play old school games.
No one came , she politely thanked the receptionist (wonderful lady by the way) and left.

We get a call the next day from a great guy to fix the bad situation the management created.

I was treated so badly that a recovery agent called us in the next day.

He works for an outside source that was hired because they seem to have a problem selling cars here.

Load up two kids 3 and 1 w/wife again, drive an hour again.

He was good, he made a deal, we were going to pay more than we wanted but it would work.We would have to wait until Monday . We shook hands. We drove and hour again this day and he made it worth it...WAIT!!!

As I was loading up the the baby carriage this guy comes up and says (no introduction)... excuse me...I can not sell you that car for that price ...I have more into it...that guy won't be here after tomorrow. Would you buy it at the orriginal price if I can get the payment at 220.00. (an imposible offer unless he could arrange for an 8 year loan on a used car) he made a fake offer, he asked "IF" and he knew that no one could make that kind of offer 12K, used 04 @ 220 can not be done on a 4 year loan, a 5 year loan , so please tell me if there are 6 years loans on used cars with 68K miles (perfect or not) HE MADE AN OPEN LIE OFFER.

    He walked away...he walked away.

3 hours of driving and negotiating and deal made , he takes away because he wants to show whos boss.

HE TURNS OUT TO BE THE GENERAL MANAGER

Fruit does not fall far from this tree of management.

Turns out "HE" is why they can not sell cars.

I agree...you would have to be a fool to trust this General Manager.

I will modify this post if they come through with their promise.
