    Well worth a visit: A lovely place to visit, especially if you're short on time. Wonderful rooms with many local contributions as well as nationally known artists. We visit everytime we're in Lakeland. They offer workshops and many activities for the community, as well.

    Best Museum in Central Florida!: Polk Museum of Art is a precious gem, located in the downtown historic district of Lakeland, Florida. This Museum is, by far, better than the Orlando Museum of Art, and the Tampa Museum of Art. Definitely worth a visit. Lakeland is a very active and alive ARTS community!!
