| About: | This restaurant is located on the Indian shores surrounded by huge boulders of salt rocks. Salt Rock Grill offers a great view of the Gulf of Mexico on one side and the inter coastal waterway on the other. The Chef serves mostly seafood and grilled delicacies and the house specials are the Calamari, Jumbo Shrimps in Coconut, King Crab Legs Alaskan style, Sirloin Steak with baked potatoes which is out of this world. Also, a worth try are the Shrimp Cocktails. Reservations are highly recommended on weekends. |

Awesome. I had the jumbo lump stuffed crab, girlfriend had the 1/2 pound filet that i tried and it was without a doubt the best steak I've ever had. Service was excellent, our server Cimion was a real sweetheart and took good care of us. We sat outside on the water and was a great experience. Classy place without being overpriced. Would recommend to all.

My husband and I went to Clearwater for our honeymoon and he wanted to go the Rock Salt to try the seafood Cioppino. The atmosphere was very nice but the most part, the food was extremely dissapointing, especially for the price of the food there. The house salad was awful, almost like salad with water dressing. The Cioppino itself was rich in seafood, but lacked taste. The mahi glazed with mango was a huge dissapointment as well.
If you want good food in Clearwater...just go to Frenchie's!!
