The cafeteria does NOT have a wide selection of food, unless of course you mean a wide selection of different second rate toppings on soggy wet pizza. You are paying for the palm trees and beautiful landscaping, and nothing more. Trust me. Everything you do will be fined. There is no opposite sex visitation in dorms and they look down on any type of opposite sex relationships. Chapel is excellent? Not when its at 9 am every morning of the semester. You can not be a night owl and go do this school. Like staying up late? Not here. 1 am curfew every night for all students. But hey, we do have a swimming pool here. The life guards are highly trained- to detect indecent exposure. Girls have to wear one piece bathing suits and the only place guys can be with their shirts off is at the pool. Guys can't even wear wife beaters outside the dorms. Enjoy eating a nice Sunday night dinner? Wait, no dinner on sunday nights on campus. Starving after a hard workout at 6pm on a friday night? Sorry, cafeteria's closed. You can try again tomorrow, but breakfast closes at 9 am. Also, you should probably start practicing mopping your floors and making your beds to military standards if you wanna go here or else you WILL be fined. Room inspections in every dorm are random every week. Lakeland is not the most appealing place for a campus. Mediterranean oasis? more like inner city gangland. Make sure you lock your doors and keep your windows up when leaving campus property. Looking forward to beautiful short wearing weather? Try again, you have to wear pants to class. If you are caught with shorts and books in your hands, that's a whopping $50 fine. Is this a real Christ centered campus like their mission statement says? Maybe if Christ was on a hundred dollar bill, they wouldn't be lying.

Think palm trees, orange groves and wide sunsets reflected in sparkling lakes. That is the setting for the beautiful Mediterranean-styled campus in Lakeland, Florida.-

An Incredible Christian University!: I did a Masters program at SE. The quality of education is unquestionably top shelf! It is apparent that this college is very purposeful and is focused on equipping the saints for authentic christian living. The chapel services are awesome; evokes the spirit within to reach out and want more of God!
