A restaurants is made or loss in the kitchen. With Perkin's this is the case. This is your typical breakfast focused chain restaurant that is getting by on location alone. I had the eggs benedict which was a disappointment. The hollandaise sauce was thin and not creamy. The english muffins should have been at least been toasted before everything else is piled on. And the canadian bacon should have been grilled a little. The poached eggs was the only part of my eggs benedict that got right.

I am not a big coffee drinker so no opinion on this but I did order a large glass of orange juice that was really a large glass of orange juice so this was good. But I am in Lake Wales so orange juice should be large, cold and fresh right?

The only positive thing I can say is if you have visitors or family over, drop by and pick up a nice pie to bring home. Other than that skip it. Yuo can get make a better breakfast at home.

never in my life did i deal w/ help so slow. waitress took partly the wrong order. food was awful. i was displeased. if my in laws were not with me i would have walked out. much better restaurants in the lake wales area.

Service stinks: Waited and waited and waited to be seated and finally left. It was well after breakfast rush hour and there was no one in front of us. Staff just looked at us and then went about there business, ignoring us. Would never go back.
