1st bowl of chips are free - charged extra for any more.
Extra tortilla's are $.99 each!
Small bowl of cheese dip for chips is $3.49!!
Waiter couldn't care less about our concerns so we will not eat here again.

The horrible service was matched only by the food. The waiter was rude, unwilling to work with us, and slow. We asked for the beans on the side, he couldn't handle that. He said "they come on the plate!" ... seriously? You (or the kitchen) can't handle the simple task of putting an item on a separate plate?
When the food finally showed up about 50 minutes later in a nearly, and understandably, empty restaurant, it was cold and tasted wretched. The next night we ate at a lovely Italian restaurant next door. The customer service was top notch, the food was delicious, prices were right where they should be. I strongly suggest driving right past El Norteno to Avanti Italian. -

I absolutely LOVE El Norteno - Its not too far for my apartment, so anytime I want good Mexican food at a great price I call them up! Hint for those over 21: They have the BEST margaritas!
