These people have a no refunds. my mother was advised, if someone else rented the facility on the date that we originally reserved, which was Nov 13th 2009, she would receive the $500 steep deposit back. When she advised you we needed to cancel, you had her make out a letter advising you that we are cancelling.
Now, the facility has a party that is being held November 13th that is being done by your facility at no charge, so since the date is booked, how is that allowing someone else to book a party there so we can receive the refund? I understand that this person having this party is receiving everything for free, at first I thought it was for a girl who had leukemia or some type of life threatening disease, but it is not, it is for someone’s daughter that is in “the business”. Well if they are in the “business” then they should be able to cover your fee and refund our money. All around this is bad business, you say you know my mother from where she works at and how good of a person she is, well do a good deed back and not give a party of no charge on our account. I hope you are not taking the opportunity to market your facility by saying that the hall was given to them for free, because we are actually paying for the party, being that we are not given the opportunity to have another party booked there.

The event planner Elizabeth,called mymother on a Sunday evening around 9pm and advised her that if she referred someone to have a party there we will get the $500 refund, regardless of the time frame whether this year or next year. Again, Elizabeth was being very inconsiderate and using my mother who is well known in the Spanish community as an advertisement tool to their benefit and making her work, something like a promoter, in order to get the money back. Which in turn just benefits the banquet hall.
