Horrible!! I had gotten a rebuilt transmission done by them in Feb '08. Since then my car had such problems. The rpms were spiking and my car wouldnt shift gears! I brought the car back to them 10 times!! They kept saying they "couldnt duplicate the problem" when they test drove it and there computer scan "supposedly" wasnt picking up any codes. So I went to Hyundai, Amscot and Sears Auto Center( unbaised opinion, since Sears doesnt work on transmissions) and all three places told me there is something internally wrong with the transmission and all three used the computer scan and came up with "codes" 4th gear ratio incorrect, as well as two other things!! We brought this back to Kustom Transmissions and they hohummed it and said they werent picking up the same problem! Finally after 9 times of going there they said ok bring it back and we will take it apart and figure it out. They checked it out and found there was a bearing wrong inside the tramsmission. Hopefully this has solved the problem... It is now Oct '08 and I just got my car back today after they had it in the shop for 7 days!! I had to find other ways to get around town- work, shopping, etc...- due to them keeping it in the shop ALL WEEK!! They told me it would be fixed by the weekend, then they called and said, "no it wont be done till Monday Afternoon", then they called and said " no it wont be done till Tues afternoon!! I didnt get the car back till almost 6:00 pm on Tuesday!!! I am very unhappy with the way this company handles itself and the dealings of their clients. I DO NOT reccommend them to anybody!! Plus there computer systems do not work properly as we had just come from the Hyundai place who picked up codes on their computer system and less then an hour later we went straight over to kustom transmissions showing them the results of the scan from Hyundai. They used their scanners and nothing came up and they accused Hyundai of clearing the codes. We specifically saw Hyundai not erase the codes and they told us they would leave the codes on the car so Kustom Transmissions can see it. Kustom Transmissions do not know how to fix cars- plain and simple!!
