| About: | Palm trees, both real and painted, decorate The Outrigger Beach Resort. This resort is for people who don't plan to spend too much time in the room. The efficiencies, with small kitchens, have the best views, of the beach, pool or garden. The standard guest rooms, while less expensive, are on the second or third floors and have less interesting views. Fortunately, the Resort offers 340 feet of beautiful beach, a heated pool, picnic area, and a Deckside Cafe and Tiki Bar, so staying in the room isn't necessary. Greet the morning with a stop at the hotel\'s tasty breakfast buffet. |

User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsWe really enjoy coming here.The staff is always so friendly and willing to go the extra mile for the guests. We used to stay at pierview but the crime sent us to the south end of the beach. I will recommend to all of our friends that use to stay there to come to the Outrigger.
User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsI had a really nice time at the Outrigger in June 2009. I loved the sign and the thatch-roof bar. We had a nice suite facing the ocean. The staff was nice, the beach was pretty neat but I would recommend going up to Ft. Myers Beach for meals. Sanibel is only minutes away.
