We love this place! I highly reccomend it for the food, the service, and all the great lighthouse pictures. We go there every time we visit the island.

We just visited Sanibel last week - discovered Lighthouse Cafe (recommended by a local) and went there every day of our vacation for wonderful, fresh-tasting breakfast; despite crowds waiting outside always got seated within 10-15 minutes, at most - love the Denver Omelet and Pecan Waffles.

WOW!!!: THE best place on Sanibel! I was very impressed with not only the staff, but the food as well! We were in a hurry to meet our shuttle bus back to the mainland, and I thought we wouldn't be able to do it with 4 kids in tow, but the wait staff not only seated and served us, but got my 3 year old to eat all her sandwich! Color me impressed! Delicious food, I couldn't have made a better Philly Cheese Steak myself! We will be back!
