About:Seafood is the catch of the day at the Lazy Flamingo. The nautical decor and lively atmosphere make this a fun place to eat, but it's the food that makes it one of the most popular seafood restaurants in Sanibel. Try mahi mahi with a Caesar salad, or The Pot, a heap of steamed clams and oysters. For those who don't like seafood, the grilled chicken sandwich is a tasty alternative. Beer and wine are available as well as big-screen televisions to view sporting events. There's also the Lazy Flamingo II on Periwinkle Way.

    THE BEST RESTAURANT IN BOKEELIA!: Although I have never been to the other location in Sanibel, the Lazy Flamingo in Bokeelia on Pine Island is fantastic and reasonably priced. The food is awesome and is great for families. There is even a ring game for the kids. I love it. I just love coming to this unknown little island down in Florida during spring break-it sure beats the chilly Lake Michigan breezes! I'm coming to visit in a few weeks, and I'm really excited about it!
