About:Generations ago Gramma Dot fell in love with Sanibel Island. Today, her award-winning restaurant Gramma Dot's Seaside Saloon is one of the most raved about on the island. Located on the water at Sanibel Marina, you can eat inside or outside. Their seafood Caesar salad is famous, as are the gourmet Marina burgers, homemade chips, and grouper. Start with seafood chowder, and finish with a homemade dessert. Beer and wine are served. A children's menu is available. Reservations are not accepted, but call ahead to order live Maine lobster.

    nice place in the marina, we went for lunch and the food was ok and service was some of the best we had on sanibel. worth a visit for the atmosphere.
