About:At Marco Walk on the South end of the island, this classic pub with a sports bar feel has been satisfying customers since 1992. With a consistently tasty and inexpensive menu serving traditional pub fare, Rookie's knows how to do what it does well. Popular on the menu, which is the same seven days a week, 365 days a year, is the Rib-Eye Steak with vegetables, a house salad, and French fries, or perhaps try the Buffalo Shrimp Basket. Most essential to the success of this casual, intimate eatery are its owners and cooks, who go the extra mile to please the guests who grace their door. What could be better than good old comfort food served with a smile? And don't forget to wave hello to the giant alligator skin that hangs on the wall.

    Rookies is the best place on the island to get excellent, yet inexpensive food. The numerous t.v.'s hanging on the wall give you the classic "sports pub" feeling. The burgers are great and the fries are the best! I also love their famous Rib Eye Steak with vegetables. The service was also excellent. Our waitor was very friendly and also very comical. If you are looking for inexpensive food with excellent service, I would definately give Rookie's a try.
