Bob Taylor is the worst service dept I have ever dealt with! I have to take my truck back several times for work they did not complete and at no time was I offered a rental car or even free oil change for to try and make me happy. Customer Satisfaction is not in their vocablulary!!!
poor service: I have taken my corvette several times to this dealer. This has been the worst rip off, over charged, and the worst service I have ever had. Why I went back thinking it would be better the next time I must have been crazy!! I was charged $168.00 to clean my battery cable.(The dash displayed low power) What a rip off. When I complained they could care less. Accept it or not attitude.Another time I made an appt. for an oil change 1 week in advance at 8 a.m. Upon arrival I was told that I had to leave the car for 4 hrs. I wrote a letter to Bob Taylor and never received a responce! So, take my advice, don't make a mistake like I did. Go elsewhere to have your car serviced! I mean ANYWHERE but Bob Taylor. Consider yourself warned!!
Horrible service: Bob Taylor Chevy has a strong reputation for horrible service. Everyone I know that has brought their vehicle in for service at this dealership shares my sentiments. I have taken my car (2005 Corvette) in twice for warranty work, and have been completely unsatisfied both times.
The first time I brought my car in for service, they kept the car for the entire day for a task that should take no more than 2 hours. While I did not consider the delay to be a big issue, the nightmare began after I picked up my car -- I discovered a fresh paint chip on the rear of my passenger side door, which was a result of carelessness in the shop (appears that a tool hit it, or the door hit an object when being opened up). This lead to a two-week battle to have the door re-painted to a satisfactory level. It took three attempts to re-paint the door to a satisfactory level. And yet, there are still imperfections in the passenger side door's fresh paint job.
I should have learned from the first attempt, but I brought my car in to Bob Taylor once again for a recall since I did not have the time to travel to the next-nearest service shop approximately 70 miles away. The recall letter noted that this recall can be performed in no more than 2.5 hours. It took Bob Taylor Chevy THREE days to finish the work. In the mean time, I have been without a car since I was not even offered a loaner car.
I cannot recall a time when I have been satisfied with Bob Taylor Chevy's customer service. Whenever I attempt to express my dissatisfaction with the management, it falls on deaf ears. I hope this review can help save others from making the same mistake I have made. If you must take your car in for service, you are much better off going with anyone OTHER than Bob Taylor Chevy.

I have had the same horrible service...At Bob Taylor there is no such thing as customer courtesy...they are rude, crude and could care less...Why I keep going back thinking it will be better...I have no idea...I was treated rudely by the Mrs. and sent a letter...did you get a response? I never did... After I get rid of this gas guzzler (which I was told would get better gas mileage than my previous "monster")I will NEVER go to Bob Taylor again...after all, car dealerships are on every corner and I am sure there is one or two that would like my repeat business and treat me with courtesy!
