I just had to comment on the food at this restaurant. Its absolutely fabulous and I wish I had one near my home. I live in the Las Vegas area am an always looking for good Italian food and especially Pizza. Hands down this restaurant has some of the best pizza I've had. OMG the crust is amazing. Even if you have left overs, warm it up in the oven and it will taste just as good as when it first came out of the oven. I was in the Sarasota area for a week and went ate at the restaurant 4 times. After having tasted the pizza, I assumed the other dishes would be just as good. Well, I was right. When you get to the restaurant, don't let the strip mall atmosphere fool you. This "joint" will pump out some incredible food. Your taste buds won't be disappointed. As I write this, my taste buds are asking for more. Again, this place is a MUST if you're visiting the Sarasota area :)

If you want New York Pizza, and great fried clams.: I don't normally write reviews. I mean, we already pay for the food, and it's not like they give us discounts for talking up or down a place.

But I grew up in NY, and this place serves the best pizza I've had in the Bradenton to Sarasota to Venice area. The place is in a mini-mall, so we're not talking any kind of ambiance, though for a small restaurant, with the right person, at night, the decore isn't bad. We use it strickly for takeout or delivery though.

And you can't go wrong w/the pizzas or the seafood. We haven't tried the pasta dishes, but the fish is so fresh, you even get a bit of graininess (not more than a sand grain in a whole dish, but it lets you know, along w/the taste, that the clams are fresh). And the pizza. After 5+ years in Manhattan, this is as close as I've gotten to 'home' IMO. There might be better pizza places, but we haven't visited one in the area yet.

You won't be disappointed.

Great Place to Eat: During tourist season, definitely get there early. Pizza - excellent, main courses - great. Dine In or Take out
