THIS IS NOT A DEALERSHIP TO TRUST!!!
WOMEN, TOURISTS, and THE UNKNOWLEGABLE of CARS BEWARE...GET A 2nd OPINION!!!
THIS PLACE IS TYPICAL OF THE JOKE ABOUT A WOMAN PAYING STICKER FOR HER CAR...NOBODY PAYS STICKER PRICE FOR A CAR!!!

OH YA THIS DEALERSHIP IS NOT OWNED BY NFL STAR and ACTOR Alex Karras...NO RELATION

On March 23rd 2009 I was visiting my mother near Sarasota, FL. I had my girlfriend, her 13 year old daughter, and my 4 and 7 year old sons with me. When I got to Kentucky coming from Illinois my heater core popped a hole. I made the appointment at Alex Karras and told them what the problem was since I have a strong mechanical background (ASE Certified Mechanic). The service guy called back several hours later, and told me what I had already told him. They charged me $99.00 for looking at it to tell me what I already knew. They then told me to repair the $43 part would cost me $1350. I declined and returned the rental car I paid for.
When I returned to Illinois I went to the Ford dealership and not only did they change my heater core, but they also replaced my high dollar spark plugs. The cost for the 6 hours book labor for the heater and the 2 hours for the spark plugs was only $525.

This was the typical "got ya by the balls" scam. Except for a $1.25 connector that I put on to bypass the heater to get home and not get screwed.

Explaination: All these dealerships use the same book as far as the amount of time it takes to repair. Parts are typically the same cost nationally. So for a $45 part and 6 hours labor to equal $1350 they are charging me $215 per hour where as the Illinois Dealership only charged $525 for 8 hours equaling $65 per hour.
