    great steamed oysters. The oyster monkefeller is fabulous, parmasian cheese, butter, garlic steamed on fresh oysters, even the crackers and horseradish are quality.

    The barmen have always been friendly and personable to me.

    One draw back for some people(me being one of them) is that this is a bar and smoking is permitted and no minors allowed. I don't like to eat delicious, mouth watering food in a smoky enviroment. That being said I constantly order "to go" and Siesta Beach is right around the corner for a fine dinner spot.

    Best bar in SRQ.: Great laid back casual atmosphere. Not too fancy, but not grungy either. Very clean, VERY well run watering hole (no I don’t know the owner). FRESH (never frozen) seafood - highly recommend "Oysters Monkefeller" or just plain old crab legs - always perfect. Ask "Pineapple" (bartender) for a "Pineapple Upside Down" shot - you wont be disappointed.

    Excellent Seafood: clams,shrimp,oysters,crawfish,mussles,all done to the tastiest,also many different brews ,and mixed drinks,good atmosphere
