User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI wasn't sure about this restaurant based on the looks. It looked small, without much parking. I walked in, and it was slightly cramped. As they say, good things come in small packages. I love the live music and the wall decorations. The wait staff are very friendly and inviting. I got a fried grouper sandwich, and my boyfriend got the grilled grouper sandwich with fries. The fries had some sort of seasoning on them. They were great. The grouper sandwich...what can I say. It was quite literally the best thing I have ever eaten. The sandwich was huge. It was the biggest piece of fish I have ever seen. The bread was different and delicious (for lack of a better description!) My fish was not the least bit greasy. It was light and fluffy. My bf's grilled sandwich had special seasonings. We plan on eating here many more times on our return trip to LBK! Like one of the other reviewers said...I want to be here somedays rather then in a classroom in Kentucky lol!

Found the restaurant on line. Saw that others have given four or five stars....so we drove down and when we pulled up to the place we were taken back a bit. Much smaller than we imagined and painted in bright colors. We went in and were pleasantly surprised on how clean it was and how good the food turned out to be. Everything, including the staff was fantastic. At 7:00 p.m. they even had a guitarist. I had the crab cakes which were good in size and prepared perfectly. They even have a kid's menu. I highly recommend Banana Cabana Carribbean Grill. I don't think you will be disappointed.

A great change from tradional seafood restaurants. A very unique place and menu. A small quaint restaurant with awesome service. It is very deceiving from the outside. Well worth a visit.
