User Rating: 2 out of 5 starsThe only nice thing about this place was the view of the Marina, which was great. We had a great view of the boat show. However, other factors were not so nice. The service was extremely slow. Our dinner order was taken 30 minutes after we finished our appetizers. After all that waiting, the food was lackluster. My mahi mahi was so bad, I left it on the plate nearly whole. For $65 plus 18% automatic gratuity, I expected edible food.
People at nearby tables also seemed to have trouble with service. I saw one patron struggling with rubbery lobster. I overheard another begging to have his entree take less than 40 minutes to arrive as the salad had. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, and asked the server if they were understaffed that day. They answered "no". So, my impression was that the level of service we received was exactly as planned.-

We were in town for an afternoon buisness meeting...Went here to eat lunch before the meeting...Food tasted and smelled strong fishy...we all had to go to hotel and clean up smell before going to meeting....will not go back there....
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsGreat Food/Great View!: We ate here with the Savor Sarasota deal and had a complete meal for $25. It was definately more expensive than that, but the deal made it fantastic. Not only that, but the food was great. We got a healthy portion of everything, no skimping at Marina Jack's. Also, the chocolate cake was the best I ever had, completely fantastic!
