THE BEST Chinese buffet in Citrus County: When Evergreen was in Crystal River, the food was nothing to write home about. The servers were indifferent and acted like they were doing you a favor by waiting on you.
The Evergreen of today is another story entirely. Excellent food, friendly staff and some of the best food served buffet style within 25 miles of Inverness. As the previous reviewer stated, they have something for everyone. Although the menu does not change much, it is diverse enough so the diner will not get bored with the choices available. Crab legs on Friday and weekend nights and if you want to avoid the rush, go early on those days. Yes, the restaurant is in a strip mall with cars entering and leaving driven by people who seemingly just barely passed the drivers test. However if you are careful, you might make it to the door without becoming road kill. Seriously though, great food, friendly staff you remember you and a decent location make for a good dining experience. And they have sushi and beer (what more do you need?)

Food was very good,, from sushi to chicken nuggets,, and alaska king crab legs on the evening menu. I was pleased to finaly find a local place that was worth my money. And pleased my taste buds too. Be prepared for possible wait to get in On a saturday nite.
