I put my father in the Assisted Living Unit at he "highest level of care. in August 2009" Although we paid for the most assistance, I sat in his room from 7:20 am until 12:45 pm the first day after admission and no one even opened his door. He was incontinent, not fed breakfast or lunch, not even checked on!!!!! He could not press the call light or call for help! The night of his admission, I found a woman in her wheel chair by herself on the first floor ( Her room was on the second floor) calling for help. I pushed her to her room in her wheel chair. I asked her if this was the first time this happened. She stated no. I walked down 2 halls to find someone to help her to bed! The next morning a man in a wheel chair was stuck in the elevator needing help!
I pulled my father out within 24 hours! I would recommend NOT Sending anyone who needs any assistance. It was a great heartbreak for our family as we thought we had found a place which stated they provided Assisted Living!!!!!!
