User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsVery romantic .. very quaint ....... best food from the chef. Small atmosphere with the chef making your food tableside. The French cuisine is incredible. He makes his own wines, his cesear salad is incredible. I would recommend to anyone who wants a very romantic date. I have flown to FL just go to there on a weekend get away.
User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsHighly disappointing - terrible service: I went to this restaurant for my birthday on the recommendation of a friend. I will never go again. The entire experience was terrible, starting with cold bread, awful house wine, and a waittress that practically ignored us for the entire meal. The air conditioning was not working and it was miserably hot. I had to ask three times to get the candle on our table lit. The bouillabase we ordered had some horrible anise flavor in it that was not included in the list of ingredients on the menu and it made the dish practically inedible. And to cap off the evening, I had to go to the kitchen to pay my bill because the waittress never came back to our table. And after all this when I got the bill I saw that they had included a mandatory 10% gratuity on the bill. Our waittress didn't deserve a nickel for her terrible service. The only person in the place who acted with any degree of professionalism the entire evening was the owner. In contrast to the hype, this restaurant was dingy, dark, hot, ill-staffed with canned music and no live entertainment and the food is only so-so. Altogether an extremely disappointing experience.
