best pizza south of new jersey. my husband and i tried almost every pizza place in the hudson area, and this was the only pizza that was good. it reminds me of the pizza i used to get in new jersey...except for the size of the slices, but i dont think that can be beaten!

The food is good. Not the best but above average. Don't order delivery as you will wait forever and be lied to when you call & complain & by the delivery staff. You will be told 45 minutes to deliver then it will be closer to two hours.

My family and I visited Hudson for a week. We loved Marzella's so much that we ate at the restaurant three times during our visit. While the actual space is rather unassuming and small, Marzella's is New York style pizza at its best with generous toppings that can be customized by the slice or full pie. The flavor was some of the best pizza we had ever sampled. The staff are warm, friendly and experienced at making everyone feel welcomed.

We did not try any pasta during our visit but did induldge in salad. Servings were generous but inconsistent in quality. One visit had a caesar salad with dressing on the side topped with an edible flower and chopped parsley with a generous hand at the cheese. The next visit lacked parsley, flowers and the cheese wasn't as moist or fresh. Our friends dinner type salad included lovely olives and cucumbers but she was disappointed by the iceberg lettuce core that was mixed in with the serving.

Overall, we will make it a point to visit Marzella's again and will encourage our friends that live in the area to frequent it as well. If you are in Hudson, make sure you stop by for your favorite slice of heaven!
