while the store has a decent selection, they cheat you out of your money. i took my guitar there to get fixed and they said it would be thirty dollars and it would take two weeks. after three weeks they finally finished it. when i got there they said they didn't know who would have said it was gonna be thirty dollars. the price went up to sixty dollars. i didn't feel like fighting so i paid it. but i hope my story helps out everyone who doesn't want to unnecessarily part with their money.

This store has a major integrity problem.

I took a used item in to sell them for resale. I was quoted a forty percent higher price over the phone than what I was offered for the item once I took it to the store. When I said I had been led to believe that the price was forty percent higher, the clerk told me not to believe any price quoted over the phone. He also told me "ten people a day bring used equipment in here to sell, and we can't buy everything."

All in all, this was a bad experience. I left with the feeling that they tell you what you want to hear over the phone and then use dishonest negotiating techniques to lowball you once you have schlepped your equipment to their store.

The bottom line is this:

I drove 20 miles to take this to a music shop where I thought I would be treated with integrity, and I got the same treatment and price I could have gotten at the disingenuous pawn shop next door.
