User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsI worked for the company for 7 months and recently left, the wages were terrible and despite receiving a favorable review for my job performance I was never given any pay incentive or raise as was agreed on the completetion of my review. The money that has been invested by Salamander into the resort has been wasted and squandered on trivial things such as a new spa and grill that never does enough business within the resort to compensate for it's staff, meanwhile the resort's infrastructure continues to decline. The AC units are unreliable and outdated and there are no functioning elevators in any of the suites. Most of the people now in control were hired less than 3 years ago and have no idea how to run the place or retain skilled employees to do the job. Terrible employer, do not bother applying.

Good hideaway in Tampa: As others have said, the rooms are well furnished, updated and beds are comfortable and lush and the views are great. Do not expect the "spa" to be anything other than a 70s locker room, but the golf courses are great and the grounds are perfectly manicured.
