World of Knowledge: A Montessori

My son, Sean, attended World of Knowledge beginning at about 20 months old, and soon it was obvious that I had made a good choice by enrolling him here. Without being rigid or strict, they teach even the young kids to take responsibility for their belongings, and identify their strengths and help them improve in areas where they need it. The teachers in his class would always make time to talk with me about how he was performing, and had some helpful ideas of how I could nurture his strengths outside of the classroom. I always felt as if the entire school, teachers, employees, and other students really cared about my son. I never worried about dropping him off here because I knew that he would always be loved and cared for here. There was an incident with another student who had bitten another child in the class and ended up biting my son, and the school was very upfront about what happened. I learned that after the first incident the child had been taken out of school for a period of time and had to see a counselor before being allowed to return, and after biting my son, the child was removed from the school. Sean learned alot from this school and I was always impressed with the things he would come home and be able to do, and how good he would behave. This is a wonderful place to have your child attend!
