Gateway Honda has really gone above and beyond for me. I live out of state and come to Florida only a few times a year. 2 years ago I was in Florida and purchased an Odyssey touring from Gateway, which I love. I had a wonderful buying experience. When I was looking around I wasnât bombarded by sales people they let me look around till I was ready to sit and make a deal. They never once tried to pressure me into anything. Gateway's service department is another excellent aspect of their dealership. I was in Florida last month and my tire had gotten 2 nails in it. Fortunately, but Unfortunately my Odyssey has run flat tires and not all places have the machine that is able to fix them. I called Gateway and they had the machine I needed for my tires. It was 30 minutes till closing and they stayed open late just to get my tire fixed so I could make it back home. This really is an extraordinary dealership and I feel as if they are my family because they have always taken care of me when in need.
this place is bad. unfortunetly, it's also my closest Honda dealer. that said, I will, even though I love honda products, buy another brand next time I buy a car. If you need service go to Love Honda or tampa. Service was no only bad, but they were rude and unknowledgeable! I also want to echo what the other person said about pressure...very high. Gateway is an awful place to buy or service your auto. Thanks for listening
We went to this dealership to buy my teenage daughter a Honda Fit - cash. The salesperson and the manager were VERY high pressure but wouldn't sell me the car I wanted. They insisted on selling me a car that cost $10,000 more and insisted that it was the only car my daughter would be safe in. I was guilted into the more expensive car. The salesperson lied to me and told me that the car he was trying to sell me even had special safe tires that she could drive on even if they went flat - I believed him. The other day the tire went flat and the rim was damaged. I took it to a tire place and was informed that she should never have driven on that tire and that our tires were not the kind that could be driven on when flat. The car salesperson lied to make the sale. I am very disappointed that I fell for this sales pitch and I regret not leaving and going to another dealership. If you're buying a car, DON'T let a salesperson change your mind! They will lie to make the sale - period!
