customer service: My Ford Escape had a recall notice. After talking to an employee, I was told to bring in the car. Upon arriving at Gateway I was informed that, Apr. 30th was the time they could do any work. After I said that was not the case the employee told me, they changed the story to the fact that the newspaper got the story before the dealers. For some reason they looked at my car and informed me that Ford recalled my car it was inspected and no work had to be done. They also informed me that my transmission dip stick was missing. If you believe that I would like to sell you a bridge. Going to the cashier to get my paper work I was informed that the printers were down and could not get
a copy of my visit. One is to be mail. If you ever wonder why we are losing out to foreign autos, just visit Gateway's service department.
P.S. the dip stick will cost me $29.85. Never will I buy American again.
