User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI have used olde world chimney sweep many times for my fireplace and my dryer vent, the service is second to none. I would recomend this company to anyone who needs a chimney or dryer cleaned.They are professional and clean. They were very helpful since this was our first fireplace. They expained everything in great detail. Very clean and neat. Would use this company again.

The gentleman called 20 minutes prior to arrival and asked if he arrived 10 minutes early if that was convenient for me. I thought that was considerate and respectful. My dryer took 2 hours to dry clothes, now takes about 30 minutes. I am 100% satisfied with the service and professionalism. When I scheduled my appt. I spoke with a very pleasant individual. Will use again in the future. Top notch service:)

I disagree - This is from a previously satisfied customer to a TOTALLY DISSATISFIED and former customer. Appointment was scheduled 1 week ago for today at 9:00am. At 9:45 am I called to inquire about the delay. I spoke to the same person I scheduled with ( very distinctive older voice). I was told no one was working today! The lady also stated that I had the wrong company and argued with me that she had even made the appt. Actually, I've used this company twice before. I even pulled out a prior receipt to call them to schedule this years cleaning! I originally called on Tues 2-26th. She stated the following Friday 3-7th @ 9:00am would be the earliest date. We agreed to this date and time & I noted this info on the same receipt and placed it on my fridge. Her next excuse was that someone had canc this appt - (I hadn't)She then asked for my ph #. She then said she wrote a "5" down instead of a "9" in my ph number. It's truly amazing how the story and her words changed from - "You have the wrong company", "they are not working today" "your name was scratched thru" "you canc'd visit", to "I wrote your ph number down wrong". This is not professional and NOT a way to treat a customer and especially a repeat customer. Time is money and I lost an entire 1/2 days pay because of her apparant apathy and careless recordkeeping. I will not use or recommend this business to anyone. I highy recommend that you also choose another chimney sweep unless you don't mind being stood up and treated as though you being a customer is not important to their bottom line.
