Was there back in 2001 and again just this past weekend (11/1/08). Food was excellent. Two couples looking for a nice sit down meal in a supperclub style restaurant. This place did not dissappoint. The food was excellent, the service was excellent and the place was very nice for Okeechobee area. We had 2 appetizers coconut shrimp and stuffed mushrooms (yummy!) and 4 entrees: catfish (whole), prime rib, shrimp alfredo, and scallops scampi. Will definitly go back again next time in town. Large portions and everything was exactly what we expected and more. So much food we who had appetizers took half of entree home. Not bad with prices. Our two meals with 2 appetizers and the pasta dishes was at $60 and the other 2 w/o appetizers was approximately $30 (without drinks). Took a look at the bar area and it is huge, lots of room and a rustic setting. When we left there was no entertainment, so I can't comment on that.
As stated earlier, this restaurant is highly recommended.
Had Dinner and Stayed Until They Closed That Night (2:00am).... Food Was Great Service was Friendly(Fried Shrimp and and Prime Rib) The Entertainment Was Excellent - Great Live Band Music.... Who Sang a variety of Old and New Country Songs... Would Highly Recommend for Great Time and Good Food - in a Quaint Pub Setting -Nothing Fancy - Crowd is in the Middle Range ( age 30 -50)Would diffenately go Again
I visited this place as my first incursion into local eateries. Maybe I was expecting something else but I was underwhelmed. Then again, it was a quiet saturday afternoon and I sat at the bar. The service was ok; in a laissez-faire kinda way... The food was ok; nothing to write home about.
I'll visit somewhere else next time...
