good food, poor service, gloomy atmosphere: Came to visit family from out of town for christmas, we decided to go to this bar and grill cause we were told the food was really great, and they had a good band , so we would not have to venture anywhere else for the evening to have a good time. Well the people who told us the food was great was right, it just took too long to get it, felt like i was waiting for the new year to get served. Started out with one waitress a little woman reminded me of my mother, and ended up being served by another because the one we had seemed to get lost finding our table for the rest of the night. Got most of our drinks myself only to be ignored at the bar most of the time by the guy who was bartending he acted like i was offending him by ordering drinks from him. Found out later he was the cook, glad from his attitude i did not say anything before my food was served no telling what i would have gotten to eat. Liked the band they were very friendly onstage as well as off, felt like i was getting a comedy show as well as great music. And was treated to some wild dancing by local patrons.
This place could really do good , with a change of personel, especially behind the bar, both people there seemed not to care about their customers , instead of asking what can i get you it was like What do you want. like asking an intruder. Place was decorated nicely, alittle too dark especially when i was eating. but great for later on. I would go back for the food, and music, but think i would sit at the bar this time and hope the bartender was interested in doing their jobs and serving customers instead of just staring at you rudely.
All and all the whole night was not a waste, but would have enjoyed it more had the service been better, a few smiles and welcoming additude would have made it more enjoyable. Dan from Georgia.

would not recommend to anyone friend or enemy: I had heard alot about this bar, everyone said the food was good and a great place to meet with friends and have a good time. But on going to this bar i found the service very poor, the food yes was good but what you had to go through to get service ruined it. The waitress we had constantly walked by as if we did not even exsist and it was not like she had alot of people to wait on she was like she was in her own world. All she did was complain about the band which we surely did not like even though i found them to be the only thing in the bar that we did like. They were very entertaining and seemed to try and get things going. But she was constantly telling another waitress remarks about them. This was really a turn off. The room was cold, bathrooms filty, one toliet was full to overflowing and seemed the staff could have cared less. The band had trouble with their sound and again the waitress made it out to be like they were not doing their job even though they kept trying to get things going. All in all i was glad to leave and move on down the street to yet another hole in the wall which proved to be a hang out for all the scum of the earth but thats another review. Don't know if the waitress who waited on us was the owner or not but if she was she sure needed a lesson in how to treat your customers and how to talk around your customers. All in all i would not recommend this place to anyone if you are looking to have an enjoyable evening. Not unless you are prepared to hear nothing but complaints from the staff or be ignored. but do have to say the food was good and reasonably priced. Just not the right ambiance for a good time.

terible: The waitreses was rude the bartenders was from the renasaunce era. The vibe in the hole place was scarey. while i was there i didn`t feel safe and i didn`t know whether to run or hide. It seemed to be that if you didn`t know somebody your service would be lacked and rude. When i approched the bar and this was in the afternoon i was told " we are getting ready for the night people so be patient" Offended is a nice way to put it. I guess i needed a lot of tattoos and a bike to be served. I would never return nor do i recomend anybody to visit this DEN.
