Stuart Flanigan's: Stuart's best kept secret. Nestled directly off of U.S.1 just south of Kanner Highway is Flanigan's. Flanigan's has got to be the best kept secret in Stuart. They have a fun restaurant with great food, great management, and an attentative staff. The 4.99 daily lunch offering is by far the best lunch in all of Martin County. On numerous visits my family and I have gotten to know a lot of the staff members. Hugh, Tracey, and Megan are one of the three managers that you will meet because they make it a point to at least make that personal contact with each and every customer. Your entire staff from Kim and Erica at the bar, to Karla the wonderful server . On one of our last visits my family and I arrived at Flanigan's we were greeted with a full lobby, but our hostess made immediate contact with us assuring us that we would be sat within ten minutes. We asked if there was any way that Karla could be our server, and we were informed that we may have to wait just a bit longer because half of the lobby was already waiting for Karla. We said no problem, threw the kids a handful of quarters to keep them occupied in the game room, and we went to the bar for a quick beverage. We were greeted by a crowd at the bar and one bartender. To our suprise as we squeezed into the one open section at the bar we were greeted withing 15 seconds (no lie) We were going to order a bottle of beer but were told that there was a special on an import that we like so we opted for the special, and I had an iced tea because the kids were with us. Before we knew it we were told that our table was ready. We gathered the kids who graciously left their pac man game with the promise of good food. Upon arriving at our table we were once again immediately greeted by Karla who said that she reconized us, but she meets so many people she probably says that a lot. We all ordered soft drinks, and I was informed that my iced tea got free refills so we were all set. Before we even had a chance to read the menu Karla returned with these four ice cold soft drinks that were all served in these bright green cups that are large enough to bath in. Karla returned within two minutes to see if we were ready to order. Lets just say that the food comes out fast, hot, and good. We got two burgers that were so large we barely fit our mouths around them. My daughter got pasta salad topped with a healthy portion of chicken salad that was obviousely made from scratch. My son had what they called a half rack of ribs that he couldn't finish because the portion was so large so we were all very willing to help hime finish. He decided that he wanted them in a box to eat at a later time. We said no desert, but after Karla bought a picture of this dolce de leche cheesecake, we decided to splurge and share a piece. During our visit we met two managers (Hugh and Tracey) both very professional. Upon leaving Kim at the bar made a point to say thanks for visiting. Upon leaving we noticed an open kitchen and I was curious so I poked my head in. We saw a sparkling kitchen with clean floors, and shining stainless steel. A man who was identified himself as the kitchen manager (very nice) greeted us. All in all a top notch, well run establishment.

Very poor management he looked like he was pissed off the entire time i was at your place and, I overherd they way he talked to a few of the waitress's...very be littleing...poor management skills. I was always taught to leade by example so if this is true that your entire staff should be mad at the world. I started for lunch at the bar and, the way the bartender looked mad at the world she must be takeing her lead from the manager. The draft beer I ordered was flat most likely due to the warm glass it was servered in. I noticed the bartender cleaning the glass just before she poured the beer from the tap into the glass. I do not know why she had a huge pile of glasses at the sink along with a dirty pile of plates next to it when they was only 2 people at the bar and, she was in no rush to clean them. She them instead of cleaning the glasses sat at a table and ate lunch leaveing me with a empty warm beer so, I next moves to a table and my server was plesent and, my food came out right away along with a piece of gum on my plate not on the bottom of it either....I swear I almost got sick there and then. never go to this place Flanigan's Stuart Florida
