Do not buy from this dealer!
I bought a new Tacoma in Oct 2005 from Serra Toyota, Alabama. From day one I have had problems and they are unwilling to fix. Sit #1) The truck has had a shake or vibration from day one. I took the truck back several times but they have not been able to balance the wheels. Finally a "factory rep" rode with me and he acknowledge the vibration and told me " it's a truck, you have to expect some vibration". When we got back to the shop I asked him if he could put it back in to try determine the problem. He flatly refused. From that day on I was on my own. Serra wiped their hands of this issue. Thet told me put on a set of Michelin tires. I did not want to fork out $800 on a new set of tires at the time. Took the truck to several independent shops to try balance the wheels and was told that at least 2 maybe all rims were out of round and could not balance the wheels correctly. Since then I have put on aset of Michelins BUT the vibration is still there. Sit #2) When I bought the truck it had a small black scratch on the front bumper and was told "it was an easy fix". They spray painted the bumber but a week later when washing the truck I felt a roughness to the paint and discovered paint overspray over the hood, windshield, roof and down the passenger side. Took the truck back to Serra and they buffed it off. A "manager" was talking to my wife on the phone and said "they don't use that painetr anymore", but I could see the same painter throught he shop window working a vehicle. Sit #3) A short while after buying the truck I felt a knocking in the steering shaft. Took the truck to Serra and was told it was something just hanging loose knocking against the the shaft. They said it was "fixed", but the knocking is till there.
Serra does noy, from my experience, have the customer in mind. I would strongly encourage others to buy elswhere.

I went to Serra Toyota and I got great customer service. It was the best car buying experience I have ever had. I also got a great price.
