Some of the best Indian food that I've ever had. Who would have known that it was in Birmingham?

Staff is very friendly, and will accommodate any special requests that you may have. There were lots of ages in the place, and I think your kids would do just fine in here if they don't mind the style of food.

Visiting Taj India was my 2nd time eating Indian food, and Taj India did not disappoint at all. The food was delicious and fresh, and reasonably priced. Their Tandoori dishes come out piping hot, sizzling on a clay tray. Delicious! I will definitely be back, soon.

Amazing Indian Food: I have been going to Taj India for about 10 years now and have always walked away happy. Great food, good staff... what more could you want? I have been to Indian restaurants all over the USA, as Well as in London, UK and even China. Taj India is second only to Maharaja of India in Tuscaloosa, and since they're family that should be no surprise! Frankly the quality of the 2 places is SO CLOSE that I juggle between which I prefer!

As to the comment that another reviewer made that Taj India isn't kid friendly... WRONG! My kids have always been welcomed there, ALWAYS! The owner even comes to my table plays with and teases my kids, tells them how good they are. If that's not kid friendly I don't know what is. Hmm, kind of makes you wonder about the behaviour of the other reviewer's kids, doesn't it?
