Take it from me, DO NOT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE! I only gave it one star because I had to. With College Station Properties, it isn't necessarily the properties themselves that are bad--they are actually in a wonderful location (and though a little older than some) pretty comfortable to live in--it is the management that will drive you nuts and make your living experience hell. My roommates and I have lived here for three years (out of pure love for our apartment), have always been accomodating and always allowed management to show our apartment to potential renters. You would think loyalty would mean something, but it doesn't. They refuse to take responsibility for anything that goes wrong, they hire out work from sketchy contractors, do not supervise their workers or keep track of who goes in and out of your apartment. I've had neighbors that were stolen from and I have had property destroyed by people they have hired, all of which College Station refused to help in any way. They actually went as far as to tell me it was MY OWN fault my property was damaged, and instead of apologizing, threatened to fine me if I didn't drop the subject. They reserve the right to enter your apartment at anytime, and will, for whatever reason. The apartment staff itself is rude, unless they are wanting to show your apartment of course. I understand that good apartments are hard to find, and you may think that you can handle the antics of some tyrannical property owners, but I promise that even if you obey every rule, they will find some way to eeek money out of you at every turn. Students need apartments and they know this, so they do whatever they want with no consequences. I promise, it will add undo stress to your life. I'm thankful I'm finally getting out.

Do not rent any of the apartments from College Station! They are the worst apartments on campus! The office is so rude and the apartments are in terrible shape. So if at all possible find another apartment.

I have had more problems with College Station then anyone should ever have. They have been rude to me and my parents on MANY occasions.
First of all, I paid my application fee and my deposit but was put on the waiting list for the apartment I wanted. I only had a week to get my deposit back after paying it. They told me that I would know if I got the apartment by the end of the week. The week came and went and no word from them. They didnt tell me and my roommate if we got it until it was too late to get the deposit back and big surprise, we didnt get it. Coincidence?
Second, they have hasseled my parents and my roommate's parents. Our parents were only needed to cosign for us. But, College Station has repeatidly called them about matters that they are no involved in such as payments. A few weeks after we picked our apartment, my dad recieves a rude call from CS saying that he has not signed the application. Well, he had, and he had a copy of it. When my dad called back, they had no idea why they had called him before and played dumb.
Finally, I had to pay my first months rent 6 months before even moving into my apartment. They did not mention this to me when turning in my application. When I asked why I had to pay the deposit AND the rent now, they said "It's just the policy."
Those things are only a few on the the problems I have had with them. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. It's not worth it.
