There is nothing particularly remarkable about the coffee, tea, bagels and baked goods sold here, but owner Lucy and her friendly staff inspire strong customer loyalty.     i have had latte in firenze (florence), cappucino in Rome, expresso in Sicily, kavu in slovak republic, mochachino on the left bank (Paris), milka in Germany, California-why bothers, and new york -manhattan get up and go americano's

    BUT NO BODYMAKES COFFEE LIKE LUCY BONDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Lucy's is fabulous! You get a real, pulled shot of espresso in your drink and a friendly person behind the counter. Lucy is a fixture at UAB. I was so glad to see her face when I moved back after a three year absence.
