Deloain New York Salon

My daughter and I walked in to Deloain to set up appointments for pedicures. The two girls behind the counter were deep in conversation and after several minutes finally asked if we needed help. I informed them that we were interested in setting up pedicures. One of the girls handed me a brochure and said - "the phone number is on the back" - and then went back to her conversation with the other girl. My daughter said - "that is why we are here!" and the employee looked quite miffed and said "there are no openings today." - and went back to her conversation. My daughter and I just turned and walked out. Later that day, we walked in to The French Door Day Spa to attempt making appointments - and we were greeted by really friendly, professional girls who made appointments for us for the following Friday. They were the best pedicures we have ever had and we had such a fun day there. Granted, we will never know how Deloain does with their pedicures - but first impressions really do make a difference!

Everyones an A-Lister (p.s. its affordable too!): Mother and I are clients for over ten years. If it is your first visit be prepared for a much deserved transformation. There is nothing average about the stylists he employs. What impresses me most is the fact that the client does not need to instruct the stylist ... You can trust their vision instead.

If the salon sounds enticing wait until you visit the Spa upstairs ... the Vichy shower is divine and a rare find for local spas.
