uh, the people who work at Kreme Delite are so rude i stopped going there. ive lived in athens my whole life and loved the place growing up, but the last several years the attitude of the workers has ruined it for me. They act like it kills them to have to wait on you, they had to pull themselves away from that tv in the corner for a second and it has ruined their day. And why do they only have chocolate in the summer, what kinda crap is that? And why cant they dip my chocolate ice cream in the chocolate shell stuff? is chocolate going to ruin chocolate? Oh and ya'll dont need a sign saying ' no habla espanol', the pale skin and west limestone shirt pretty much tipped me off that your spanish might not be so well. Ill settle for your broken english. Uh, and that sign is worded wrong anyway. Maybe yall should invest in a spanish-english dictionary, they may be the only customers you have left.

First of all, if you are from Athens or have ever been to Kreme D, then you know all this already.

For those of you who haven't been...you are missing out. Local ice cream spots are the best ever. This one tops them all. The ice cream here is more like ice milk, very sweet, not really creamy, but thats good if you like that. Which I do.

They feature milkshakes in flavors like Butterscotch, an upside down banana split (in a cup, no less), and authentic Cherry Coke, with real cherry juice. If you can get past the ice cream, grab a chili dog and make it a meal.

The building is serious nostalga. It has been around since the 50's, I think, and features a cool neon sign on top. I hope this place stays open forever. It is a fixture in Athens and for me and my family.

A+++Rating from the Martin Family: I am 33 yrs old and have went to Kreme Delight ALL my life, My Mom also remembers going to Kreme Delight on her teenage dates... thats a lot of Ice Cream years.. Now I take my children every Sat. for an ice cream... I hope to be able to take my grandchildren. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!!!! A+++
