To Whom It May Concern:
Today at store #9943 on April the 22nd at 3:49 pm,I placed an order at the drive thru.The total was $5.40. I dug around in my billfold and came up with the .40 cents and gave the cashier a $20.00 bill.Well, in handing things back and forth through the window,she did not give me any change.I did not discover this until much later when I went to the grocery store and did not have a $10.00 or $5.00 bill. I got my receipts and went back to the store to talk to the manager,who was having her dinner.I apologized for bothering her on her break and told her what had happened.She was very nice and said that she would have to count down the drawer and I cerntainly understood.I left my name and number and she said that she would call me.In less than 30 minutes,she did call to say that yes, the drawer was $15.00 over and that they had my money waiting for me. When I finished dinner,I went out to our store and she gave me the money and apologized again.I thanked her for going the extra mile and for believing me.I just wanted someone in Corporate to know how much I appreciated her, her honesty,and her willingness to make things right.
