User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsTreated my 70 year old mother like a criminal because she asked for an extra container to put a corn bread muffin in so she would not get gravy on it. (Christian?) Owner went crazy and took slaw and muffin away from my mom in front of a crowd of people and screamed at her. The owner also screamed at employees at restaurant. She said she would go out of business if she let everybody have an extra container. My mother had asked for something to separate the food in one container and didn't get it. I understand the business side of it...but, treating someone the way my mom was treated is not right. Terry Patilla
User Rating: 3 out of 5 starsThere's Better BBQ In Jasper!: Jasper is not really known for having the best BBQ in the state... However, you'd still think that a restaurant owner would know that greasy food is not the first choice of most folks.... While most of the rest of the food other than their BBQ is pretty good (especially their steaks), in our opinion their BBQ is a bit on the greasy side.... Now, we have been there when it wasn't greasy... So, it may be the cook....

AND THE COLE SLAW WAS GREAT ALONG WITH THE TATTER SALAD. YA KNOW JASPER ALABAMA IS IN WALKER COUNTY HOME OF GEORGE LINDSEY AKA OLE GOOBER ON ANDY GRIFFTH SHOW YALL CHECK UM OUT YOU HERE!
