User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsI hadn't been to the Pottery by You on Hughes Road since they moved down by the Hartlex Antique Mall. I took my daughters on October 21. They painted 4 unicorns. Two weeks later I called to check if the pieces were ready. No they weren't. A week after that I called again and they couldn't find the pieces. The owner's mother found them in a box she had. They were in the corner of the box and hadn't been unloaded at the store. How hard is it to see pottery in a box?
It's also very difficult to get ahold of anyone. If the store is suppose to open at noon. It might not actually open until after 1 pm. I've had this problem when I've tried to contact someone to find out where my pottery was.
I will not go back to this place. And I recommend that you don't either unless you don't mind waiting 3 weeks for your pottery and probably having it misplaced. When this store was located at the other address you would get your pottery back in 1 week. Also, the selection of pottery is less at this location and the store is a lot smaller.-

Outstanding Shop and People: I love to go into this shop, the people are very friendly and it is very clean and a great place to work and shop. They have lots of fun shut for quality hobbies.

I go there to make wheel-thrown pottery and learn from others doing the same. There are many other crafts to get involved with as well, such a s stained glass, beading, mosaics and painting "ready made" pottery. Friendly environment!
