User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsEarl's Place is great. The portions are large (enough for two meals), the food is delicious (especially the greens), and the staff is very friendly. I would eat there everyday if my waistline would tolerate it. I would recommend it to anyone looking for good ol'fashioned homecooking.

Earl's Place is now open on Atlanta Hwy. in the old Shoney's location. I ate there last week and it was delicious! You get huge portions and everything was good--nothing over seasoned or salted. The staff are very nice and service was good. The decor hasn't changed much from when it was The Chop Shop but it works. They are also taking catering orders according to a sign on the counter.
