User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI've eaten at alot of so-called southern home cooking restaurant. Martins Restaurant in Montgomery Alabama can claim this title and stand alone. This meal of 1 meat and 3 veggies will knock your socks off. not only is the food excellent but the plates are loaded with food. Reminds me of eating at grandmas house with fresh home grown veggies from her garden. Great Job Martins wish you were in the Atlanta area. But anytime I'm in Montgormery Al. you will see me there.

We're at Jackson Hospital in Montgomery, traveled from Geneva Alabama, had lunch at Martin's today. That was one of the finest restaurant meals I've ever had ANYWHERE, and I 've traveled all over the world and at of some very finest restaurants. Very much worth the 2 hour drive just to eat here. Had fried chicken, cornbread dressing, paradise salad, blackeyed peas. mash potatoes and excellent chicken gravy. Just superb all the way around. Very, very memorable meal.
