User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsOutstanding! I've been a patron since they first opened in 1998/1999. I love their selection and service. It is nicer now that they've moved to updated location on Ann Street.

This is the original of the three Ala Thai restaraunts. It's hours have been reduced but it's still one of the best bets for good Thai food in Montgomery. As an alternative, head to the new Ala Thai on Atlanta Highway. However, stay away from the Ala Thai off of Ann Street next to the Wal Mart. After being grossly overcharged in three consecutive visits, I no longer patronize that location. For an example, a large bowl of tom yum came with a $12 price tag or twice the cost of the other two locations.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsPleasant suprise: Ala Thai has a relaxed, yet authentic feel. Not like going to a "theme-park", chain restaurant. All food seems very fresh. Very large menu with many vegtarian dishes. The spring rolls are unique - they are not cooked, and contain fresh vegetables and fruit - a cool fresh treat.
