User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI have lived in Montgomery for the last 31 years and San Marcos has been my choice for Mexican food. The food, service, and over all kindness of the entire staff, make San Marcos of Montgomery the best place to dine. When we travel, we're always looking for Mexican restaurants, and have tried many, not one compares to the excellent food we have right here in our own city. Keep up the good work!!!!!!!!!!!
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI lived in Montgomery almost 12 years ago and San Marcos was a place that I went to eat every week!! The food and service was amazing and quite honestly I have yet to find ANYWHERE that makes a chicken and chesse quesadilla that even comes remotely close to the ones that I remember. I wish I could get the recipe for those.

Hard to beat: It seems that new Mexican or southwestern flavor restaurants are opening in Montgomery all the time. I guess that is a reflection of the growing Hispanic population in the area. While there is a growing number of places serving this type food, it will be hard for them to knock off the reigning champ, San Marcos, around here.
Sure, San Marcos has been in Montgomery for years and their building is starting to show some signs of age. But their menu is up-to-date and the food is second to none and the service beats the other places hands down.
Want some good Mexican food at great prices? If so, set your sails for San Marcos. You will leave happy knowing that you eat the best Mexican food in the region.
