The most impressive health food store in the South: Seriously... We saw a special on TBN the other day that had a Naturopath named Matt St. John on it discussing health topics. They gave the phone numbers and locations of his stores at the end of the program, even though he never seemed to be just "selling stuff" and the info. was quite impressive. Before we left the Anniston area for the week, we decided to go by his Oxford store and see what they had. Well, it was a small store tucked away in a shopping center tucked away behind the mall there. We went in, and were BLOWN AWAY with the service that we recieved. They have every good brand of supplements and herbs that we use, offer consultations with Dr. Matt St. John, and had massage therapy as well. Well, after I spoke with a nice woman for awhile, I had a pretty serious health questions. All of the sudden, Dr. St. John emerged from one of the back offices and spoke to my husband and I about several topics. We were impresssed with his knowledge and his straight and no-nonsence approach to wellness and health. At no time did he ever try to "sell" us anything, and actually spoke more about what we needed to do when we got home to improve the health of our family than about taking fistfulls of pills. We got appointments to do a more in-depth consultation the next time that we are down next month, and certainly look forward to our visit. We would highly recommend St. John's Nutrition to anyone wanting to learn about health and wellness and get some good products as well!
