    I am a member of GWRRA and was fortunate to have stayed here during the Region "A" rally. I can't say enough nice things about this place. The rooms were great...beds really comfortable and lots of pillows on each bed. The breakfast buffet was super. Lots of choices on it. The staff went out of their way to do everything possible to be helpful and make sure my stay was the best it could be. I look forward to our rally next year and staying with them again. I would highly recommend Holiday Inn Dothan South to any and everyone. If you need a place to stay in Dothan be sure and stay here.

    8/31/01 COCROACHES GALORE!! If you like cockroaches this place is for you. I was awoken at 1:30 am to several cockroaches in my bed, on the walls and in the bathroom. The hotel managment did little, but did move us to a different room (though we got little sleep after that). The following day I was told I would receive a full refund by check (as I had paid in cash). After one week I had not received my refund & contacted the corporate headquarters . Within 24 hours, the local hotel notified me that my refund check & been cut & mailed. While the local hotel management seemed indifferent to the filthiness of the hotel, corporate headquarters was very apologetic & insured I would receive my refund. I also filed a complaint w/Houston Co Environmental Health Dept regarding the cockroach infestation.
